Vapour-Permeable Film Dressings are a range of sterile, showerproof, transparent film wound dressings. Film Dressings are made from a latex free, semi-permeable polyurethane film membrane.
Vapour Permeable Adhesive Film Dressing

• Convenient, all-in-one sterile dressing reduces application time
• Breathable film allows good exchange of moisture vapour and oxygen, whilst preventing external contamination
• Transparent film allows observation of the wound surrounding skin
• Hypoallergenic adhesive
• Conformable to all body parts
• Waterproof film allows patients to shower
• Rounded corners prevent lifting increasing wear time

Application

• 1. Cleanse and dry the wound
• 2. Remove product from packaging
• 3. Remove one release liner from the Adhesive side of the dressing
• 4. Place this side of the dressing onto the wound
• 5. Remove the second release liner and smooth the dressing onto the skin
• 6. Remove the top release liner smoothing the dressing as you go

Indications

• 1. Low exuding wounds
• 2. I.V sites
• 3. Skin tears or lacerations
• 4. Closed Surgical wounds
• 5. Over the top of hydrogels to debride
• 6. Where there is fragile skin to protect or needs atraumatic removal
