Non-Adherent Absorbent Dressing Pad with Perforated Film Face – 5cm x 7.5cm

Non-adherent absorbent dressing pad with perforated polyester film on one side. Ideal for low – moderately exuding wounds, they are an alternative to gauze dressings. The absorbent inner layer draws exudate away from the wound and a non-adherent wound contact layer minimises the risk of the dressing adhering to the wound bed. The low adherent wound contact layer is perforated to allow the passage of exudate from the wound into the dressing.

Application

• 1. Gently clean and dry the wound and peri wound area
• 2. Open the packet and place the shiny side of the wound pad down onto the wound, ensuring a 2cm overlap
• 3. Secure with appropriate fixation device
