Absorbent Dressing Pad (Backed) – 20cm x 40cm

A non-adherent highly absorbent dressing pad used for the management of exuding wounds as a primary or secondary dressing. Absorbent dressing pads are soft, multi-layer, highly absorbent, non-woven pads with sealed edges to prevent linting and leakage. The dressing pad has a water-resistant backing layer to prevent strike-through and bacterial contamination.

• 2. Non-adherent wound contact layer
• 3. Soft dressing to ensure patient comfort
• 4. Breathable fibre dressing

Application

• 1. Select a dressing which allows a 2cm overlap of all wound edges
• 2. Place the dressing white side down onto the wound
• 3. Secure in place using an appropriate retention product
