Type 3B Cohesive Stretched Bandage (Layer 4) for 4-Layer Kit – 10cm x 5.25cm

Layer 4 is a strong, flexible cohesive type 3b compression bandage which provides part of the total pressure for the 4 layer compression system. The bandage is also breathable and water resistant to aid patient comfort and wear time.

Application

• 1. Beginning one finger above the white bandage from the toes
• 2. Apply in a circular motion with 50% stretch and 50% overlap of previous wrap
• 3. Wrap around the ankle in a figure of 8, ensure full heal coverage
• 4. Work up the leg, using the 50% coverage measure and appropriate pressure is being applied
• 5. Trim any excess bandage and sceure to itself

• 1. The top layer of a 3 or 4 Layer System
• 2. Can be used for mild sprains and strains
