Type 3A Light Compression Stretched Bandage (Layer 3) for 4-Layer Kit – 10cm x 10.25cm

Layer 3 is a strong, conforming, two way stretch knitted type 3a compression bandage which provides up to 20mmHg as part of the total pressure for the 4 layer compression system. The bandage offers reduced compression where full compression is not needed within a 4 layer system.

Application

• 1. Beginning one finger above the white bandage from the toes
• 2. Apply in one wrap around the foot and then a figure of 8 motion from foot to ankle
• 3. Wrap around the ankle in a figure of 8, ensure full heal coverage
• 4. Work up the leg in a wrapping motion, now applying 50% stretch to the bandage
• 5. Trim any excess bandage and sceure to itself

• 1. Where reduced pressure is required as part of a 4 layer system
