Reduced Compression Layer (Layer 2) for Compression Kit – 10cm x 3.5m

This non-woven, self-adhesive bandage is the second layer of a 2-Layer Compression Bandage System, which is indicated for the management of venous Leg ulcers and related conditions. Providing a gradual and reliable compression to the leg when applied.

• 1. Provides reliable reduced compression
• 2. Self adherent, meaning no need to fixate
• 3. Provides compression at rest and when walking

Application

• 1. If a wound is present, apply a suitable dressing to the wound
• 2.Ensure soft padding is applied over the area of use
• 3. Beginning one finger above the white bandage from the toes
• 4. Apply in a circular motion with 50% coverage of previous wrap
• 5. Wrap around the ankle in a figure of 8, ensure full heal coverage
• 6. Work up the leg, using the 50% coverage measure and appropriate pressure is being applied
• 7. Trim any excess bandage and secure to itself
